MY THOUGHTS ON THE LETTER OF PEACE
29-09-2010
The section I has a lot of truth in it. When I was in Germany many years ago I found that a lot of young Germans were feeling guilty about what happened in Second world war with the Nazi Party, I told them that it was not their fault as they were not there. I then told them that what was laid on their shoulders was what happened in the future. Having said this I must remark that anyone who perpetuates past wars or crimes for their own ends are guilty of the past, simply by keeping the bitterness alive as many governments and other people do. Past wars should be past.
It is important that we compensate those who have suffered in a way that is just and fair.
As in the genocides that have happened throughout history, people justify them by denying the humanity of those they wish to destroy. That was evident in the Nazi extermination of the Jews and in more modern times in the thousands of Abortions carried out throughout the world every week.
