"I am impressed by what is said in this Letter of Peace about the resentments of history. Indeed, there are many examples of resentment within families and in nations. In many villages there are families who are resentful generation after generation, even though the current members do not know exactly what the original reasons are. At the national level, in Europe we have known the Franco-Prussian war, the war of 1914 to 1918 and that of 1939-1945. Why these wars? I commend the Letter of Peace."
